Fifteen percent of farmers subsidize wooden floors and wooden doors

It is understood that the "wood building materials to the countryside" pilot activities are based on the principle of piloting, gradually pushing, self-launching, and creating conditions that are in line with the country's overall deployment of organic linkages. Since the first half of this year, Da Zhuang Flooring, Shengxiang Flooring, Meng Tian Mu 14 wood building materials companies, such as Yiye and Runcheng Wooden Door, have started pilot industries under the organization of the State Forestry Administration and the China Forest Products Industry Association. The first pilot areas include Shandong, Hubei, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Henan, Hunan, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian, and 12 provinces (cities) of Heilongjiang. The first batch of pilot products include two major categories, wood floors and wooden doors. The pilot activity lasted until January 31, 2011.

Experts believe that "wooden building materials to the countryside" will not only facilitate rural consumers, but will also stimulate sales of building materials, decoration materials, etc., which will help stimulate the vast rural consumer market. According to the preliminary estimate of the “Research Report on “Wooden Building Materials Going to the Countryside,” if the number of new rural households to be built in 2010 is 19,840,000 households, and the average total cost of building a house is 100,000 yuan, it is expected that rural construction can be directly generated. The overall consumption of the room is about 1.99 trillion yuan, even though 1% of the number of rural households is building new houses under the “Building Materials to the Countryside” policy, which will also boost the overall consumption of rural housing construction by about RMB 50 billion.

The difference between “home appliances going to the countryside” and “automobiles going to the countryside” is that instead of subsidizing the government, “the construction of wooden building materials to the countryside” means that the manufacturers participating in the pilots take direct profit-sharing and designate rural areas for the purchase of wooden building materials. The rural consumers of the products subsidize the farmers. Pilot farmers in the pilot areas can enjoy the benefits of not less than 15% in the purchase of wooden floors and wooden doors of the pilot products, and some of the enterprises’ profit sharing even reaches 20%. At the same time, the alliance has also implemented a "maximum price limit" for pilot products.
