For example, ammonium bicarbonate is corrosive and volatile, and calcium phosphate contains free sulfuric acid and carbonic acid, both of which have strong corrosive effects on seeds, so it is not suitable for seed fertilizer. If it is necessary to use as a seed fertilizer, avoid contact with the seed. Ammonium bicarbonate can be applied under the seeding ditch (hole), separated from the seed by a certain soil layer, or mixed with superphosphate and soil fertilizer. Second, chemical fertilizers containing chloride ions should not be used as seed fertilizers. Chemical fertilizers such as potassium chloride and ammonium chloride contain chloride ions, which are water-soluble chlorides when applied to the soil, which is detrimental to seed germination and seedling growth. Fertilizers such as potassium nitrate contain nitrate ions and should not be used as seed fertilizer.
