Power Automation (PA) is a renowned German company specializing in numerical control systems. With over two decades of experience in developing and researching open CNC systems, PA has built a strong technical foundation and is recognized globally for its advanced technology. Major industry leaders such as Siemens, Rockwell, and Heidenhain have adopted PA's solutions. The PA8000 series is an open CNC system based on PC technology, widely used in machining, milling, drilling, grinding, and compound machine tools, as well as laser cutting applications.
PA is dedicated to becoming a top supplier of machine tool control systems in China. By adhering to world-class quality standards, the company customizes its CNC systems to meet the specific needs of Chinese customers. This commitment ensures that users receive reliable, high-performance solutions tailored to their production environments.
One of PA’s standout features is its **automatic copying** functionality. It automatically counts and calculates values, then writes them directly into the working coordinate system. This eliminates errors caused by manual input and calculation, improving accuracy and efficiency.
The **quick tooling** feature allows the system to record stop blocks, enabling users to start machining from any point in the program without manual editing. This reduces the risk of mistakes and increases productivity, especially when dealing with complex cutting tasks.
PA also offers **high efficiency and high-quality flexibility**, allowing users to manually adjust settings between high-speed mode for faster processing or high-precision mode for demanding tasks like mold making. These adjustments are made easily through a simple drag-and-drop interface, giving operators full control over performance and accuracy.
A key advantage of PA is its **special man-machine dialogue**. It supports integration with third-party software and includes pre-developed dialogues such as "down plane," "material opening," and "frame opening." These intuitive interfaces allow even non-programmers to perform common operations quickly and efficiently, reducing the chance of misuse.
Unlike traditional CNC systems, PA does not require an additional computer for data processing. Its powerful computing capabilities and large storage capacity eliminate the need for external devices, reducing costs and avoiding errors caused by data transfer. The system comes equipped with a dual-core 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, and a 160GB hard drive, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
PA supports **network management**, allowing multiple machines to be connected in a network for efficient CAD/CAM data transmission. This enables fast, reliable communication across high-speed LANs, enhancing workflow and collaboration.
Remote diagnostics and maintenance are also available through the **remote diagnostic and remote maintenance** feature. Technicians can access customer machines via the internet, resolving issues quickly and minimizing downtime.
With **rich interface resources**, PA provides standard RJ45, USB, PS2, RS232, and parallel ports, offering flexible connectivity options. This makes it easy to transfer programs, connect peripherals, and operate the system with ease.
The **antivirus protection** feature ensures data security by automatically mapping the hard drive upon startup and clearing it after shutdown. Even if a virus infects the Windows system, it is removed during the shutdown process, providing peace of mind.
PA’s **optimum corner speed reduction** function calculates the best speed adjustments for different corners, maintaining consistent speed and accuracy throughout the machining process.
The **user-friendly HMI** combines traditional buttons with a window-style menu, supporting Chinese, English, and German. This makes it ideal for beginners and enhances overall usability. A 12-inch or larger true-color LCD display improves operator comfort and efficiency.
PA excels in **high-speed processing of tiny segments**, using real-time pre-processing of up to 1000 NC blocks. This ensures smooth acceleration and deceleration, leading to improved efficiency by over 20% while maintaining precision and surface finish.
The **precise stop interpolation** function enhances corner smoothing, preventing overcutting and achieving excellent machining accuracy and sharp corner finishes.
PA offers **free software upgrades**, allowing customers to benefit from new features and improvements without hardware changes. This ensures long-term value and adaptability.
The **flexible HMI** supports secondary development, enabling customized interfaces to meet specific user requirements.
With **system compatibility**, PA works with a wide range of servers and motors that follow open protocols. This ensures future-proof hardware choices and easy replacement without system failure due to discontinued components.
In China, PA has gained recognition as a special system for CNC technicians at the Shanghai Vocational and Technical Appraisal Center. It is used in training and examinations, and was featured in the 2001 China International Machine Tool Show on the first nano lathe developed by the Beijing Machine Tool Research Institute.
IECEx Approved Coriolis Mass Flow Meter
Zhejiang Sealand Technology Co., Ltd. is a trustworthy manufacturer of Mass Flow Transmitter, Coriolis Mass Flow Transmitter, Coriolis Mass Flow Sensor, Mass Flow Sensor & Mass Flow Sensor Coriolis, ATEX, IECEx & CE approved.
The meter can be connected with computer as follows. Connect the meter and computer with a USB-to-RS485 converter( converter A+ end to transmitter A+ end, B- to B-, and GND to GDN); turn to device manager of the computer to check COM port connected with meter. Start the software, select the right COM port and click Connect; do not change any other parameters (if you do not know the right one, click Automatic options on the left, click Connect, plug & unplug the transmitter, and then check if it is connected). You can click Connect on the tool bar to disconnect or connect again. It will shown Connected/Not Connected at the bottom of this interface.
The flow direction is settable. There are 4 options, forward(default), reverse, absolute value & bi-direction. There is a
direction mark on the sensor. Forward means the same direction with the mark on sensor,
the meter will only count the flow in this direction; reverse means the opposite direction of
the mark, the meter will only count the reverse direction; bidirectional means that the meter
will measure both directions, it increases when it is forward and decreases when reverse;
absolute means it increases no matter it is forward or reverse.
