Inner Mongolia Developed Waste Aluminum Foil Separation and Recovery Technology

Aluminum foil composite paper is widely used in the packaging of cigarettes, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and many other industries. Due to the rapid increase in the usage of the aluminum foil composite paper, its corner waste has also increased. Because aluminum and paper stick together, they are not decomposed, and aluminum cannot be used to make paper. Waste incineration pollutes the environment and wastes resources.

The Institute of Chemical Engineering of Baotou City, Inner Mongolia, has recently developed a “dry one-step method” technology for the separation and recycling of waste aluminum and aluminum foil paper, and established a recycling plant. Each ton of waste aluminum foil can recover 300 kg of aluminum and 600 kg of high-quality dry pulp, which has been identified by relevant authorities. , Aluminum up to the national standard, pulp can make upscale paper towels. The result has been officially granted by the National Patent Office.

This technology will ease the environmental pollution problems caused by waste aluminium and platinum.
