Customer first, JLG brings new products and services to the 2016 BMW Show

On April 18, 2016, Shanghai, the world's leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telehandlers, and the subsidiary of Oshko Group, JLG, presented the new products at the 2016 German BMW Show and at F.904. The /5 booth featured a range of new customer-focused products and services, including the world's tallest boom-type aerial work platform 1500AJP.

In addition to the new 1500JJ crank-type aerial work platform, JLG also demonstrated the latest hybrid technology and after-sales service. A range of JLG open-pit trucks and other models of aerial work platforms were also on display.

As the world's tallest boom-type aerial work platform, the 1500AJP has more than 74,000 cubic meters of operating space; the telescopic boom has a working height of 23.5 meters, an unrestricted load of 270 kilograms, and a limited load of 450 kilograms; and other curved arms. Compared with aerial work vehicles, this aerial work platform provides operators with a wider operating space and is more convenient to carry more materials. The 1500AJP is also the industry leader in lift-off speed. It takes only 2 minutes and 15 seconds to reach the highest working height, saving operators time and getting more time to work.

JLG SkyGuard ^® is the biggest highlight of this release. It is an enhanced platform protection system for aerial work platforms that will become standard on JLG products in the future. Some of the equipment in the booth has installed this disruptive and innovative system.

In addition, JLG has brought an upgraded version of the Toucan 8E and 10E mast-type aerial work platforms designed to reduce total cost of ownership. The improvements include a standard AGM battery and an oil-free mast that reduces the weight of the unit and adds a lightweight option for single-person outdoor work on both models. JLG also showed the Toucan 12E Plus aerial work platform. Thanks to its flexible arm, this compact machine can work in hard-to-reach areas. With a horizontal reach of 6.05 meters and a height of 7.12 meters, the 345-degree rotating mast has unparalleled positioning capabilities.

If equipment durability is a top priority for BMW exhibitors, the JLG 460SJ and 400SC straight-arm aerial work platforms will be very popular. These equipment hoods are made of DuraTough. DuraTough is a strong and flexible polymer that is heat, impact and corrosion resistant, sound and shock resistant. DuraTough covers reduce equipment wear, which means less maintenance and repair and increased equipment uptime.

JLG also introduced the X26J Plus compact track-type aerial work platform, a typical representative of JLG's lightweight products, which is lightweight and takes into account the working height of the product.

Telescopic forklift

The 4014PS is another flexible telehandler with a maximum lift of 13.7 meters and a maximum load capacity of 4000 kg. The operating platform is available in two width options (1.8 m or 4.5 m) in accordance with the latest EN-280 standard.

The 4017RS is a simple, reliable and comfortable model. The cab is designed to allow the operator to quickly adapt to the equipment, and the powerful powertrain increases operational reliability. The simple operating arm design reduces the need for equipment maintenance and makes it easier to reach the job location. The 4017RS has been approved for use in Germany with an elevated cab with a maximum load of 4,000 kg / 8818 lbs, a maximum horizontal reach of 13 m / 43 ft and a maximum lift of 17.10 m / 56 ft.

Aerial work platform

2632ES: Reduced charging time, extended run time, increased productivity and durable endurance due to balanced electric drive.

530LRT: With standard oscillating axles, the new off-road scissor lifts provide superior off-road performance at rugged aerial work on the construction site. With a platform height of 18.15 m / 53 ft and a load capacity of 680 kg / 1500 lbs, an optional 7.2 m bracket can carry more operators and materials.

10MSP: A driveable cargo picker with zero turning radius for enhanced operability; built-in automatic charger reduces downtime. One-hand operation, driving at maximum height, and other performances greatly improve work efficiency, with a maximum platform height of 3.05 m / 10 ft. In addition, the 10MSP is additionally equipped with an electric tray for easy carrying of more items.

H340AJ: Four-wheel electric drive hybrid that can be powered by diesel fuel and power systems, provides longer lasting power than diesel power equipment, and saves operating costs. Compared to all-diesel fuel-powered equipment, the H340AJ offers significant fuel savings, noise reduction (less than 69 decibels) and low emissions. The hybrid has a maximum working height of approximately 10.36 m / 34 ft, a maximum span height of 5.18 m / 17 ft, and a maximum platform load of 226.8 kg / 500 lbs.
