The radish hollow affects both the yield of radish and its quality. Now introduce three ways to prevent radish hollow:
1. Pay attention to the balance of water supply. The water content of the radish should reach 60%-80% during the growth and development stage, especially in the period of radish root enlargement. When the soil water supply is insufficient or when it is dry, it is easy to appear hollow. Therefore, the water supply should be balanced when cultivated. When the soil water content is lower than required, it should be properly watered.
2. Scientific application of boron fertilizer. Boron fertilizer can promote radish heart and big. From the radish seedlings to grow 2~3 true leaves from the beginning to the harvest period, spray boron fertilizer once every 20 days, 150 grams of borax or 100 grams of boric acid per acre, first dissolve with a small amount of warm water and then water 60 ~75 kg, stir evenly and spray in the evening.
3. Administration of paclobutrazol. Paclobutrazol has the effect of controlling excessive plant growth and regulating the distribution and function of photosynthetic products in plants. In the growing season of radish, 15 grams of 15% paclobutrazol wettable powder per acre is sprayed evenly on water 50 kg. It is usually used once for a normal growing field.
