About the introduction of the back corner of the mold

The relationship between the die edge shape and the punching force can be analyzed using shear mechanics. Regardless of the degree of wear on the relief die, the initial clearance remains largely unchanged. As wear increases, the fillet radius of the punch and die becomes larger, which in turn increases the shearing force required to cut the material.

However, as both the punch and die experience wear, the initial clearance may also change. In such cases, the actual gap increases, resulting in a reduced shearing force needed to deform the material. It's important to note that even though the real gap may increase, the "imaginary" gap—based on the original sharp edge—still exists. When the edge becomes rounded due to wear, the effective cutting area is smaller, leading to changes in how the material responds during the punching process. The impact of clearance on punching force has been well-documented, and even if the imaginary gap is considered, the actual gap will always differ, affecting the overall performance.

Additionally, the cutting edge formed by the relief angle β of the concave die tends to extrude into the material more easily than a straight edge. This causes the shear deformation to be confined to a narrower region, concentrating the squeezing force near the tip. As a result, the resistance to fracture is lower compared to a straight edge. The presence of a back angle on the die edge makes it less rigid during punching, reducing its ability to resist deformation. It should also be noted that the punch typically wears faster than the die, and die failure is often initiated by damage to the punch. Therefore, to maintain balance between the punch and die, the difference in wear must be compensated by adjusting the back angle of the concave die’s edge.

In summary, a straight-edged die offers greater resistance to shearing, while a die with a back-angled edge reduces the punching force required. This relationship between the die edge geometry and the punching force plays a crucial role in determining the overall performance and longevity of the tooling.

Thread Rods

About thread rods is a bar that is threaded on both ends, and the thread may extend along the complete. normally it is long rod,
Like DIN975 own length with 1M.2M,3M,The standard is DIN975,DIN976 AND Us standards.but we also can produce non-standard ,it is according to drawings and Samples.
The grade in Germany standard:CL4.8,CL8.8
And in US standard/ASME B18.2.1 :CL2,CL5
