Dill should be propagated with seeds. Sowing in early April, pay attention to shading after sowing, keep the seedbed moist, and emerge after about one week.

Dill cultivation is relatively simple:

Dill growth conditions:

Because the dill is native to the tropics, it is warm, avoids cold, and is afraid of frost. When the temperature is low, the growth is very slow, and the seed germination is suitable for a temperature of 20 to 25 °C. In a sunny environment, most types require less sunshine hours, but Quamoclit lobata needs to bloom in less than 12 hours of sunshine. The soil is not demanding, but it grows well on fertile and loose soil.

The seed of the dill seed is about 139 thousand seeds, and the seed can be used for 3 to 4 years. The fruit ripening period is inconsistent, and it is easy to fall off after maturity. Each fruit contains 3 to 4 seeds. If both red and white flowers are present, they should be planted separately.
