Application of infrared surveillance camera

The application of infrared cameras in video surveillance, residential surveillance, commercial applications, etc. can be said to be more general in all industries. Not only does it bring great convenience to our daily life, it can be said that there are indelible achievements in social security and other aspects. So what is the application principle of infrared surveillance cameras?
First, the infrared surveillance camera is a camera device that integrates cameras, protective covers, infrared lamps, and power supply and cooling units into one. The basic principle of night vision is to use ordinary CCD black-and-white cameras to sense the spectral characteristics of infrared light (that is, visible light and infrared light can be felt). The infrared light is used as an “illumination source” for night vision imaging. The power and angle of the infrared lamp, the configuration of the infrared camera, the infrared lens of a certain focal length, and whether there is a good power supply heat treatment are important parameters for judging the performance of the infrared camera.
In the night vision monitoring system, the conventional method is to use visible light illumination, but this method has the disadvantages of being hidden and easily exposed to the monitoring target, and therefore it is less used; currently, the hidden and scientific night vision monitoring uses the infrared dome camera technology.
Infrared camera technology is divided into passive and active. Passive infrared camera technology uses infrared radiation in any substance above absolute zero (-273°C). The higher the temperature of an object, the more infrared radiation it emits. The infrared camera made using this principle is the most typical infrared thermal imager. However, this special infrared camera is expensive and therefore is limited to military or special occasions. The active infrared camera technology uses infrared light to radiate “lighting” (mainly infrared light), and uses an infrared camera to sense the infrared light reflected from surrounding scenes and the environment to achieve night vision monitoring. Active infrared camera technology is mature and stable, and it has become the mainstream of night vision surveillance.
At present, most of the night vision surveillance cameras are based on infrared cameras. Not only because its technology is very mature, but also in all aspects of cost performance can meet the majority of users. In terms of operations, etc., it is also relatively simple and easy to use.
