On January 9th, the "key technology and equipment for high-efficiency magnetic separation of weak magnetic ores" project, which was presided over by Jianguo Group's Yanzhou Nonferrous Metallurgy Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Yanzhou Research Institute") and Zhangzhou Jinhuan Magnetic Separation Equipment Co. Second prize for scientific and technological progress. Dr. Xiong Dahe, the first accomplisher of the project, was kindly received by Xi Jinping Party and the national leaders. This is the only national technology award that was awarded by Jiangxi Province in 2014.
The project's achievements were completed in collaboration with the innovation team led by Yan Institute and Jinhuan Company, Dr. Xiong Dahe. It broke through the restriction bottleneck of strong magnetic separator manufacturing, and overcomes the key technical problems of strong magnetic separation of weak magnetic ore and innovation. The design theory of strong magnetic separators and the expert appraisal organized by the relevant departments have made the overall technology reach the international advanced level.
According to statistics, the project has been granted 9 invention patents and 9 utility model patents. It has formulated 1 national industry standard and published more than 100 papers that have been included in more than 20 articles by SCI and EI.
The SLon series of magnetic separators formed by the industrial transformation of this project has been applied in large-scale industrial applications in China. It is widely used in the recovery of weak magnetic iron ore, titanium ore, non-metallic minerals, etc., and its domestic market share reaches 90%. , The international market share reached 70%.
It is understood that the equipment has been exported to more than 20 countries such as the United States, Australia, India, and Brazil. The overall performance and technical and economic indicators have reached the international advanced level, completely changing the passive situation in which China’s strong magnetic separators rely on imports. China has become one of the major countries in the world that has mastered key technologies for large-scale magnetic separators, with significant economic and social benefits.
