On June 14-15, the Department of Raw Materials Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a seminar on the 12th Five-Year Plan for Building Materials Industry in Chengdu, Sichuan, from the provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities with separate plans, and the industrial authorities of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Responsible comrades in the building materials industry, as well as responsible comrades of the China Building Materials Industry Association, some local building materials associations, and large enterprise groups attended the meeting. According to the requirements for the preparation of the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the Raw Materials Industry Department commissioned the China Building Materials Industry Planning and Research Institute last year to carry out the 12th Five-Year Plan for the building materials industry. At the meeting, responsible comrades and experts of China Building Materials Industry Planning and Research Institute reported their preliminary research results on the building materials industry and the key industries of cement, glass and ceramics in the “Twelfth Five-Year Planâ€, so that the delegates can fully understand and grasp the development of the building materials industry. The status quo, the situation facing the situation, and the existing problems have formed a consensus on the development ideas, direction and key points of the “12th Five-Year†building materials industry.
