How to choose helmet detection instrument according to helmet structure function

It plays a vital role. Each structure of the helmet has its own function, and the quality of the helmet is detected by the helmet detection instrument. For each structure of the helmet, the following tests are performed. Just a brief introduction:

Cap: Takes a blow to separate the falling object from the human body.

Hood: Keep the helmet in a defined position on the head.

Top strap: Disperses the impact force and keeps the cap shell floating so as to disperse the impact force.

Cushion: Reduces impact when an impact occurs.

(The above structures need to detect their impact absorption and puncture performance, which is detected by the ZM-811 helmet impact puncture tester in our helmet detection instrument.)

Rear hoop: headband locking device.

Lower chin strap: Helps maintain the status and position of the helmet.

(The above structures need to detect the strength of their chin straps. This is determined by the ZM-813 helmet chin strap strength tester in our helmet detection instrument.)

Sweatband: Sweat.

Wearing height: It reflects the difference in height from the forehead to the head and interferes with the eyes, ears and clothing. The cap of the helmet was removed from the forehead. The tight part cannot be closed, and there is no guarantee that it has a certain state and position on the head.

(The wearing height is measured by the ZM-816 helmet-mounted height gauge in the helmet detection instrument.)

Vertical spacing: Reflects the gap between the inside of the cap and the top of the head. If it is too small, the ventilation is not smooth, and if it is too large, the center of gravity of the shell increases, causing the helmet to be unstable on the head.

(The vertical distance is measured by the ZM-816 helmet vertical distance gauge in the helmet detection instrument.)

Horizontal spacing: Provides buffer space when there is lateral force at the impact. It is also a cooling channel.

The helmet also has many special properties, such as the flame retardant, anti-static performance, and electrical insulation performance of the helmet, which are required to pass the ZM-817 helmet fire resistance tester and ZM-818 safety Cap anti-static tester, ZM-819 hard hat electrical insulation tester to detect.

Before testing the helmet's impact absorption performance and puncture performance, the helmet must first pass the pretreatment test, the commonly used pretreatment detection equipment is ZM-820 helmet UV irradiating box, ZM-821 helmet high temperature pretreatment box, ZM- 822 helmet cryogenic water immersion pretreatment tank.
