What are the characteristics of the servo valve used with the servo oil pump motor?

Do you want to know what are the characteristics of the servo valve used with the servo oil pump motor? Dalan Motor tells you that the characteristics of the electro-hydraulic servo valve used with the servo oil pump motor can be expressed by the frequency response or transient response.

1, frequency response

1 Frequency response is the percentage of no-load flow and input current when the input current is sinusoidal in a certain frequency range.

2 The frequency response characteristic is expressed by a relationship between the amplitude ratio and the frequency and phase lag and frequency.

a. The amplitude ratio is the ratio of the output flow amplitude to the input current at a particular frequency divided by the ratio of the output flow at a specified frequency to the same input current amplitude.

b. Phase lag is the phase difference between the measured input current at a specified frequency and the corresponding change in output flow.

c. When the amplitude ratio of the servo valve is -3dB (that is, 70.7% of the output flow rate when the output flow rate is the reference frequency), the frequency is defined as the amplitude bandwidth, expressed by ω-3 or f-3; and the phase lag reaches -900. The frequency is defined as the phase bandwidth, expressed as ω-900 or f-900.

d. From the frequency characteristics of the valve, the amplitude bandwidth ω-3 and the phase bandwidth ω-900 can be directly found, and the smaller one should be taken as the bandwidth value of the valve. The bandwidth is a measure of the dynamic response speed of the servo valve. If the bandwidth is too low, it will affect the response speed of the system. If it is too high, the high frequency will be transmitted to the load.

3 The input signal or the oil supply pressure is different, and the dynamic characteristic curve is also different. Therefore, the dynamic response always corresponds to a certain working condition. The servo valve product catalog usually gives ±10%, ±100% two sets of input signal test curves, and the oil supply pressure is usually specified as 7 MPa.

2, transient response

1 Transient response is the oscillation attenuation characteristic exhibited by the valve's output flow during the tracking of the step input current when a typical input signal (usually a step signal) is applied to the electro-hydraulic servo valve.

2 The main indicators of the time domain performance reflecting the rapid response of the electro-hydraulic servo valve are overshoot, peak time, response time and transition time.

3 Overshoot is the difference between the maximum peak E(tpl) of the response curve and the steady state value E(∞).

4 Peak time is the time required for the response curve to rise from zero to the first peak point.

5 Response time refers to the exercise time from 5% to 95% of the command value.

6 Transition process time is the time taken for the output oscillation to decrease to the specified value.
