The financial report shows that the company's revenue in the first half of 2017 reached 8.644 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 55%; net profit was 2.127 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 57%, and earnings per share was 1.73 yuan.
iPhone 8 uses a glass plastic hybrid lens
AAC is one of the leading Apple suppliers. Apple's iPhone, iPad and Appl eWatch all use the supplier's micro-speaker modules, speakers and receivers, and the wireless RF components are also provided by AAC Technologies.
AAC Technologies currently has two optical lens factories in Suzhou. The future manufacturing plant in Changzhou will also be completed. At the end of the year, AAC's lens production will reach 90 million to 100 million. Ken Hui, an analyst at Huatai Financial Holdings, said that Apple has now acquired a glass and plastic hybrid lens solution from AAC, which Apple will use in the iPhone 8.
